Cook  – Salary: $8.98 - $10.01 per hour– Various MWR Activities 

Duties: Performs a full range of simple cooking by preparing and cooking items that require little or no processing, such as pancakes, sausage, eggs, hamburgers, and fresh or canned vegetables. Prepares hot cereals and concentrated or dehydrated soups, sauces and gravies. Makes cold sandwich fillings. Sets up and replenishes salad bar. Prepares food by peeling, chopping, grinding, paring, cutting, slicing, dicing, pureeing, dredging, flouring, or breading. Weighs, measures, and assembles ingredients for regular and modified menu items. Mixes ingredients according to precisely written recipes. Covers, dates, and stores leftovers according to established procedures. Operates a variety of kitchen equipment using gas, electricity, steam or microwave heat sources. Disassembles, cleans and assembles component parts and accessories, following safety procedures to avoid personal injury and damage to the equipment. Uses and cleans a variety of cooking utensils to measure, weigh, and process food.


Custodial Worker –  Salary: $7.42 - $7.94 per hour

Duties: Cleans rooms, corridors, stairways, and other areas. Sweeps, mops, vacuums, scrubs, strips and polishes using light and heavy duty powered equipment. Operates industrial equipment to clean rugs, drapes, etc. Performs routine maintenance of equipment. Cleans, disinfects and deodorizes toilet facilities. Cleans, and dusts assigned areas. Empties trash. Makes beds and changes line. Washes walls, windows, blinds and ceiling fixtures using ladders, scaffolds and safety belt. Moves heavy furniture. Maintains stock of room and cleaning supplies to perform assigned duties.


Hotel Desk Clerk – Salary $7.25 - $12.09 per hour – Army Lodging

Duties: Makes reservations for incoming guests based on room availability. Interviews incoming guests to determine room assignment. Assists clientele in the completion of required forms and registration cards. Answers questions pertaining to rules and regulations governing the assignment and use of quarters; issues room keys. Provides statement of non-availability when applicable. Posts registration information on the registration card. Orients guests concerning use of facilities and equipment, and other facilities available on post. Answers billing questions and concerns. Assists or arranges transportation. Computes charges for guests checking out, receives payments and room keys; renders receipts. At end of shift, accounts for and secures cash.


Laborer – Salary: $7.42 - $8.98 per hour – Mountain View Golf Course

Duties: Performs some or all of the following duties alone or as a member of a work crew: Mows grass, lays sod, weeds flowerbeds, trims and edges walkways and lawns. Prunes shrubs and trees; applies fertilizer, waters plants, cleans out drainage ditches, shovels snow from walks and driveways. Loads and unloads conveyances; moves materials using wheelbarrows, hand trucks or dollies; stacks and arranges supplies for storage; collects refuse and recyclable materials. Digs, fills and tamps soil and gravel in earth excavations; levels ground using pick, shovel, tamper and rake. Cleans rugs and drapes. Cleans, waxes and polishes floors using heavy industrial-powered equipment. Adjusts, cleans, oils and changes attachments on machines. Washes and replaces room fixtures using ladders and scaffolds. Uses chemicals and cleaning solutions. Maintains stock of cleaning materials and implements used. Notifies supervisor when additional materials are needed. Moves heavy items.


Food Service Worker – Salary: $7.42 - $7.94 per hour – Various MWR Activities

Duties: Performs a variety of routine manual tasks in a kitchen or dining area following established procedures. Sets up glasses, silverware, dishes, trays, napkins, condiments, and cold menu items such as salads, desserts, bread, and cold beverages on a serving line or tables. Removes dishes and trays from tables after meals. Washes tables and counters. Prepares food by sorting, washing, peeling, and cutting fresh fruit and vegetables. Operates, break downs, and cleans all equipment assigned to the area for food preparation. Clean kitchen equipment such as worktables, sinks and refrigerators. Separates food waste and trash from dishes, glasses, and silverware. Loads and operate dishwashers. Stores cleaned dishes, glasses and silverware. Vacuums and shampoos carpets; sweeps and mops kitchen floors. Cleans windows and washes walls. Cleans and sanitizes trash cans; disposes of trash.


CYS Program Assistant – Salary $10.76 - $13.18 per hour – Child & Youth Activities

Applicants must be 18 years old, and have a high school diploma or GED.

Duties: Serves as a caregiver and implements verbal or written directives concerning methods of discipline, group activities, play periods, room organization and child/caregiver relationships. Carries out an organized curriculum designed to encourage children's curiosity, problem solving and task attainment; extend children's knowledge of concepts appropriate to their developmental level; recognize individual differences in children and responds to needs; maintains records as directed by supervisors; administers minor first-aid and carries out emergency measures.


Recreation Aid – Salary: $7.25 - $12.09 per hour – Various MWR Activities

Duties: Issues tools, equipment and games to authorized customers. Checks identification, collects fees when appropriate, and completes appropriate documentation. Receives returned items, inspecting for obvious damage and missing parts. Checks inventories and supplies. In a recreation facility, assists in directing patrons, scheduling the use of courts, lanes and equipment. Participates in and directs games and social events. Decorates party rooms and maintains the cleanliness of assigned work areas. In arts and crafts programs, demonstrates simple techniques. Provides facility and program information to patrons. Assists with simple repair and maintenance.


Recreation Aid (Facility Aid) – Salary: $7.25 - $12.09 per hour – Barnes Field House/Eifler Fitness Center

Duties: Serves as a Facility Aid in a Fitness Facility. Works under the direction of the Facility Manager. Assists the Facility Manager in the overall operation of a fitness facility. Circulates among patrons to assure service is satisfactory: provides information and general instruction on the use of equipment, facilities, and machinery. Assists in setting up for instructors, contractors, events, athletic activities, and related functions. Performs facility cleanliness and/or monitors contracts. Assists with publicity of programs and events and assists with the delivery and placement of posters, flyers and other promotional material. Issues/receives equipment to authorized users. Monitors fitness equipment condition; tracks maintenance and repair or replacement as appropriate. Cleans and performs minor maintenance on facility equipment.


Waiter/Waitress – Salary: $8.40 per hour – Various MWR Activities

Duties: Sets tables, arranges place settings and table decorations. Receives guests, makes suggestions and answers questions about food, wines and other items available. Takes orders. Places order with and receives food and beverages from kitchen and bar when required. Maintains sales record. Collects cash or payment by credit card. Clears and cleans tables and other customer service areas. May provide work direction to other dining room staff as necessary.
