Note.... We Are Now Closed
For Renovations.
We are sorry for any inconvenience.

Here is an update on our progress.

As with all renovation projects, especially on old buildings, there are unknowns that are discovered when work begins.  We have made several such discoveries.  The issues that have surfaced are largely related to the discovery of additional hazardous materials (Asbestos) in the building that must be removed by specially trained workers and disposed of in a safe manner.

As a result, we have had to extend the construction time line.  Our contractor is making every effort to compress the construction schedule to allow us to open the Bowling Center with all lanes by October 9, 2010.  This assumes everything goes according to plan.

Jeannie’s Diner renovation will continue and its completion will follow.  Reopening of Jeannie’s Diner will be sometime after the lanes themselves are reopened.  We will have a limited food and beverage operation once the lanes reopen, and will maintain that until Jeannie’s Diner is completed and reopened.

Our main objective is to have a totally renovated Bowling Center and Diner when this project is completed.  While delays in reopening are a great inconvenience to us and our loyal customers, they are necessary to ensure the renovation is completed correctly.  We are taking no shortcuts.  We will ensure the renovated facility, when completed, is first rate, as our customers deserve.
