Why
scrapbook? What is the value?
Leave your History. Scrapbooking
is a wonderful gift to leave your children,
grandchildren and your grandchildren’s
children.
Like quilting, scrapbooking is a
piece of yourself and memorializes your life.
Provide a story with the photos. How many
times do you look at old pictures and wonder
when and where they were taken, what was
going on or who is in the photos?
Unless you had a super organized
family member, there are not always dates
and names on the backs of the pictures. You
can provide the story with the photos.
Therapy. Everyone needs some "Me"
time. Scrapbooking is a great outlet,
whether you think you are creative or not,
and gives you time to reminisce.
Your time and energy is expended on a
project that you and future generations will
enjoy and appreciate.
Give
a gift. You don't need
to scrapbook for yourself. You can
make a mini-album of an event or holiday for
a friend or family member. They will
enjoy it and you may find you like
scrapbooking enough to get your photos
printed, organized and placed in albums.
